The 22nd Anniversary All Star Night to benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute surrounded partiers with the ‘Destination: Cure’ theme of international travel.

Guests at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center were greeted by several groups of performers with an international flavor.

As emcee of All Star Night, I’m getting some last minute script changes from Leslie Garrity, Roswell’s Director of Marketing Communications.

A brief interview for News 4 with Roswell President & CEO Dr. Donald Trump just before the All Star Night program starts. Videographer Ron Gabalski is working with me here.

A colorful ‘Can Can’ starts the show.

More than 850 people turned out for ‘Destination:Cure’ at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center

With so many people filling the Convention Center for dinner, these big screens are important so everyone can see the show.

Dr. Kunle Odunsi was honored with the Thomas B. Tomasi, MD, PhD Hope Award for his work launching a cell vaccine trial at Roswell Park designed to eradicate cancer cells and prevent disease relapse.

Entertainment reporter and breast cancer survivor Giuliana Rancic was presented with the Gilda Radner Courage Award for her work raising awareness of the importance of early detection of cancer.

Giuliana’s husband, Bill Rancic, joined her on stage to talk about their journey together ever since her cancer diagnosis.

After the All Star Night program with two dear friends, Mary Pinto and Joe Marzullo. Mary has been a very active member of the Roswell Park Alliance Board ever since her daughter and my friend, Linda Scime, died of a brain tumor more than ten years ago.
