It was refreshing to visit the Hamburg Fairgrounds and not have to worry about rain. I’ve see some real downpours over the years — but today was sunny, cool, and pleasant at the Erie County Fair. I enjoyed talking to people from all over the area as they waited to spin the prize wheel in the Channel 4 gazebo for a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As luck would have it — Jackie from Buffalo landed on the Jacquie Walker picture on the prize wheel. That meant she could pick anything on the prize table. A winning day all the way around!
