For over 50 years we “HAVE” run a not for profit camp in Zoar Valley on the
county Line near East Otto. It has been used by Boy Scouts and Girl scouts
and church groups , started as Doc Izard’s place – now officially Sycamore
Reservation (as a Not For Profit ).

Well it was in the center of the floods! Buildings are down!
Equipment washed away. Due to various issues – we recenlty lost insurance
    - no one would write insurance for the camp – or none that we could afford.

We heard that a DISASTER proclemation was declared. So I started calling various people. FIRST problem – I live in EireCounty , but the camp is just
on the other side of the county line (Catt creek), SO Erie County folks tell
us to call Catt county. I called the number provided and when asked where
I live – they tell me to call Erie county.

I have contacted or left messages with BOTH NY state senators and assembly reps. We have so far spend hours clearing MUD and documenting damages.
Cabin walls are damaged, storage building walls are GONE and the tractor
used to CUT the camp areas, is now FULL of MUD and sand (engine and transmission)

NO one has even stopped by. Camp roads are all washed out, and many campsites a full of trees, and assorted debris including parts that look
like sewer lines (probly upsream septic system drains).

We have posted pictures up at a Walgreen site .
