I wouldn't rule it out completely for the future but I know of no plans right now for translator installations.

Where are you located?

We have always had over the air reception using our VHF antenna, but when the switch to digital takes place in June, we will not be able to receive it. We purchased a UHF antenna, a converter box, and a signal meter. There is no signal whatsoever due to distance and hilly terrain. Will WIVB be building repeaters, or TV translators? I contacted the FCC, and they said it was up to each individual station.

Sincerely,
Bill
