Arizona Cardinals
Mike Gandy: The Cardinals staring left tackle is the only former Bills player on the Arizona roster. He had an undistinguished 2 years in Buffalo. He was replaced at left tackle by Jason Peters. He has been a solid starter for the Cardinals since signing as a free agent.
Adrian Wilson: The Cards safety is the guy who nailed Trent Edwards during the October game. Wilson was fined, and some think Edwards was never the same.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: The rookie cornerback was much talked about in Buffalo before the draft. Some thought he was the better choice over Leodis McKelvin.
Alex Shor: Cardinals practice squad tight end is a Syracuse grad who has relatives in WNY.
Ali Highsmith: Cardinals injured rookie LB is a related to UB running back Brandon Thermilus though Bradon’s Dad, former NFL player Alonzo Highsmith.
Todd Haley: The Cardinals offensive coordinator spends part of his summers in Bemus Point and at the Chautauqua Institution.
Mike Miller: The Cards WR coach spent 2004 and 2005 as the Bills receivers coach under Mike Mularkey.
Ron Wolfley: The Cardinals radio color analyst is a native of Orchard Park who played in the NFL.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Byron Leftwich: Steelers backup QB will be the top available free agent in March. Would the Bills be interested as a backup/competition for Edwards?
Limas Sweed: Steelers rookie receiver was coveted by some Bills fans at draft time. Instead, the Bills took James Hardy. Sweed has had some horrible drops in the playoffs, but he is getting playing time.
